BAND CAMP FOLLOW-UP

I did not receive any volunteers to help out with band camp so we will postpone the thought until next year.

This year, our focus will continue to be writing our own songs.

I really believe it is important and mandated on us to raise up the next generation so I will continue to allow God's leading for strategy. We will do it next year!

I look forward to an incredible weekend!

GUEST AT PRACTICE

Saturday, we will have a guest minister at practice to get a feel for what we do. You may remember a handful of us who led worship in Lynnwood at A New Day church, a few months ago. Well, the music director has asked to come to our practice and just watch. He would eventually like to bring his team to one of our all-team practices when we can do workshops and they can glean from us.

This is good. We are here to help lead people to worship God. "Touching the world one measure at a time." We have the ability to help an entire church aside from The Rock, by helping this team.

If there is ever a time when you need extra focus on a part of a song or feel like you are not comfortable practicing in front of him, please let me know. We will do what we need to do in order to take care of our team. And I won't "call you out."

I am so proud of you for your hard work and passion for seeing God glorified and His people worship!

You are smart, discerning and powerful. There is nothing we can't do together! I look forward to a great week. God has been good to you and He is going to bless you, this week.

Thank you for this weekend. There was a sweet presence in the house. The new song was wonderful. I was caught up in the presence of God and truly touched in the service today.

This week's shout out goes to Robin Davis. She plays drums, percussion and trumpet.

Robin, you struggled last night and today but pushed through without giving up. Because of that, you overcame! Thank you for your dedication and loyalty. Thank you for your passion after the things of God, righteousness and purity.
