BAND CAMP

I have been praying about doing a BAND CAMP this summer. it would probably be a few hours a day for a week. Instruments and vocalists. The logo would be retro-type.

It's about multiplication, baby!

Be praying about this. Thanks!

Saturday Nights

Hey there,
so for the record this is my first blog ever other than myspace (which really doesnt count). so yay. I am mass excited for the worship team to be leading worship for youth on saturday nights. Bringing this element in is really going to raise the level of worship in our youth! All you guys( and girls) who are doing both saturday and sunday I just want to commend you! The Fray's how to save a life will be really powerful, I am so excited to practice it tomorrow....I know it will pretty much be twice as cool as the original version cuz you guys rock.

Thats about it! in the words of Kipland Ronald Dynamite - Peace Out...

SNEAK PEEK AT SERVICES LEADING TO EASTER...

Here's a sneak peek at the services leading up to Easter. We just had a staff meeting and discussed the next three weekends.

GET EXCITED!!!

This weekend, we are doing "How to Save a Life" by The Fray.
Next weekend is an acoustic service. The stage will be mostly clear to aid in the effort of the total stage redesign happening for Easter.
Easter weekend we are going to have a full sound check on Friday evening at 7pm (tentative). Because the stage will have been torn up, we'll need one!
There is an Easter Eggstravaganza for the kids in the afternoon. We are purchasing glow sticks to pass out during the last song of the set. It will be sooooo cool!

Choir practice is at 4:30 pm each Saturday. The final one being a run-through of the Easter service.

Our Easter service times are: 9, 10:30 am and 12:00 pm. THREE. It will be off the hook.

As of right now, we are shortening our Easter service so we won't be doing a cover song. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR DYNAMIC DISCUSSIONS WE HAVE BEEN HAVING. WE WILL BE DOING COVER SONGS!!!

BEAR WITH ME AS YOU MAY BE CALLED UPON TO SING OR PLAY WITH LITTLE NOTICE.
Questions? Post 'em.

OPEN FOR NEW SONGS

This is a post for new songs. If you have a suggestion, put it here!

WEEKEND SERVICES...DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU BELONG?

I want to give an update on our weekend services and how our team fits.

Practices will be held at 6:30 pm for the services.
If you are on the schedule for a particular Sundaym you will be ministering on the Saturday night as well (unless otherwise notified or listed).
Jr. High services with live worship begin next weekend...April 1st. BGV's, you will be notified of the weekend you are leading. Yeah! How exciting is that?

Post or let me know if you have questions or something is unclear!

SHOUT OUT!

This week's SHOUT OUT goes to the Nashman! He plays keys, strategically creates great brainstorming sessions as well as gives his lovely wife to minister!

Nahshon, congratulations to you on your graduation from the Art Institute of Seattle! Wow. Thank you for giving endless hours to your passions and not forsaking the ministry or the giving of your time on the music team. It is an honor to serve with you. You provide wonderful and valued input.

Congrats to you!

ok...a joke

Song Submission

Hey I think it would be cool if we had a little area where we could submit new songs that we think would be cool to do. I know that everyone out there has different styles and tastes so I'm sure we would have a huge lists of suggestions. Just an idea to get the creative juices flowing and for you all to be looking, or should i say listening, for cool new songs.
