As I am sitting with our songlist and asking God to refine or alter it as He wishes, I have our big week on my mind and heart.
Tomorrow, the series title is "Commonly Asked Questions." The response for questions has been phenominal! This only means there will be people seeking answers. People will be at church tomorrow looking to see if this "God thing" is really real. As a result, we have a great opportunity to share our passion and true heart for Christ in our worship, on our faces, through our excellence factor as well as through our connection.
It would be a good idea for all of us to spread out in the worship center and talk to people we don't know well or have never met before. This way, they will have a connection and when we walk on stage, they will say, "Wow, I didn't know someone so real and nice was a leader! And look at their worship!?!"
Tuesday, some of the team will be heading down to the Regioinal MFI Conference with me. It is held at The City Church. We will be leading other members, pastors and leaders of MFI in worship. Please keep us in your prayers. Pray for wisdom for me, grace to lead for all of us and joy to be very prevelant on our faces!
Wednesday is our first JAM Family Service. Yeah! Bibleman will be with us for the evening. Todd, Keri and six children will be joining us on stage. The bgvs along with this crew will be doing motions to the songs. Let's be big and help them feel comfortable doing wild things on stage!
I am very excited for this week and the amazing team I am a part of. I thank God each day for you all!

YES!!! I am expecting tomorrows service to be amazing!! I invited a co-worker, he works in the office at CDK. Pray that God will answer all his questions tomorrow. Cant Wait!!
This is going to be a phenom week. Can hardly wait. I just finished reading PJ's blog and a response from one of the readers. They were talking about risk and the importance of moving beyond the comfort of what you know and into the realm of the unknown.
It is all about faith and believing in everything God says He is. When our faith is expectant and real, it moves the heart and hand of God. But it also has the effect of motivating those we come in contact with.
Tomorrow is going to be amazing and we can be excited about each person that is coming because we know that hope, grace, promise and change is waiting for them. As we take a risk and step out to involve ourselves in peoples lives, they will follow and take risks...a smile, an "Amen", a hand lifted, a mouth opened, worship! Risk makers produce risk takers!
Sometimes it isn't easy to step out of the comfort zone...I know, been there! Sometimes it's easy to feel as though we aren't coming from a place where we can make those connections, a feeling of, "Who am I?" But Christ has anointed us to preach "good news", and often that is simply with a smile, a handshake, and a "How are you doin?" Let the Holy Spirit do the rest.
This is by far the greatest team I have ever had the privilage of being a part of. Keep it real, be yourself, and let God use you tomorrow and beyond to make a difference in someone's life on the personal level!
