SNEAK PEEK AT SERVICES LEADING TO EASTER...

Here's a sneak peek at the services leading up to Easter. We just had a staff meeting and discussed the next three weekends.

GET EXCITED!!!

This weekend, we are doing "How to Save a Life" by The Fray.
Next weekend is an acoustic service. The stage will be mostly clear to aid in the effort of the total stage redesign happening for Easter.
Easter weekend we are going to have a full sound check on Friday evening at 7pm (tentative). Because the stage will have been torn up, we'll need one!
There is an Easter Eggstravaganza for the kids in the afternoon. We are purchasing glow sticks to pass out during the last song of the set. It will be sooooo cool!

Choir practice is at 4:30 pm each Saturday. The final one being a run-through of the Easter service.

Our Easter service times are: 9, 10:30 am and 12:00 pm. THREE. It will be off the hook.

As of right now, we are shortening our Easter service so we won't be doing a cover song. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR DYNAMIC DISCUSSIONS WE HAVE BEEN HAVING. WE WILL BE DOING COVER SONGS!!!

BEAR WITH ME AS YOU MAY BE CALLED UPON TO SING OR PLAY WITH LITTLE NOTICE.
Questions? Post 'em.

Originally, we had a morning practice scheduled for the day before Easter. Will this be happening too? Or just all of us, band included, at the 4:30 run-through?

Great question, Rach.
We will have a sound check with instruments (if you want us to check your instrument for you we can) on Friday at 7pm.
Practice is only at 4:30 pm.
I will have choir discussing items while the band sound checks and runs through the songs.
