WANT TO WIN? CHIME IN!

HOW DO YOU THINK FUEL WENT?????

I thought the entire experience was awesome!

The practices, I have written about before but will say, the ability for us to constructively suggest transformations to songs and parts was a step up from any other time. Thank you to all who stepped out to brave the Great Divide of feedback (receiving and giving). Wow! Seems to be my word for the century.

How about the forty-five minutes of worship and prayer after? Here is what someone e-mailed me last night that took part in that...

"Praise God! After such a wonderful praise and worship service, my flesh is so tired; but, my spirit is soaring with the eagles. Wow! I just wanted to thank you and Pastor Jeff for your obedience tonight. I was sooooo blessed. I absolutely love to worship the Lord for it is such a privilege and I'm honored to be able to do so.
It's so overwhelming how much God loves us. I can't help but cry...............and cry.........and cry. I felt like a dam had been broken in the spirit. (In a wonderful way)
My life is so blessed but I know that it is because I AM to be a blessing. "

And another...

"You did an amazing job tonight, worship was very anointed and powerful.
Karly that was sitting next to me said you guys should tour. I'm a little too
selfish to agree with her :) We are so spoiled and take for granted all the
work you guys put in to make it look so easy. "

And...

"Hi Pastor Mel,

I just wanted to let you know that last night was one of the best nights of worship I can remember in the 4 years I have been at The Rock. I was at the last recording and it was also awesome but last night topped them all!!
I feel so blessed to be able to love each and every moment of worship in my church and think that the team is INCREDIBLE! It is obvious that all of you are not just singing but truefully pouring out praise to God. It is a blessing to watch and hear. I can't wait to hear this CD. How long do we have to wait??? I am so excited!"

I received a text today from a friend who said her back was healed in service!!! We have been praying for miracles during the worship for years!

I thought we all did well "owning" our element and really making a solid effort to keep nerves under wraps so as to play and sing skillfully. I loved the "teapot" song and thought it opened the evening off perfectly. I LOVED how you invited the whole crew of people to sing with you. That started the evening off the right way, too.

I know we all made mistakes. We will be able to fix what we need to. I thought we were able to work really hard and have fun, too.

I was sad that those on the team who were not on stage, were not ALL there. I know there are other commitments but you are just a part of the team as anyone else and know how important those in the crowd are to the success of any worship time. I pray you desire to help in the studio and such. I know Rachel tried to get with the BGV's and talk about who and what and when in regards to the evening. I praise God for you all! We have lots more projects to do and I anticipate you being in on all the upcoming festivities!

That brings me to another point...I think we all learned how important it is for everyone to join in worship. I really saw this wen we kept pressing in and the number of God moments. You know, when you thought the song was going well and then God kicked in the nitro or you thought the song was over the Spirit interrupted us!

I think we learned the necessity of a plan and how the Holy Spirit can be a part of the plan before hand as well as take over in the moment!

I learned God's faithfulness and His desire to consistently draw us closer to Him.

I was blessed to see the spouses of the team in the crowd. Wow! There's that word again!

I was bummed the place wasn't filled to capacity because you all deserve to be supported a ton! Rachel said it best when she said, "I'd rather have a room half full of people who really want to be there, than a packed house of half way worshippers." I believe this is true for the recording. Great point, Rach!

I know when people see the passion and humility on all your faces and in your lives, you draw EVERYONE to worship. And if they aren't, they are asking, "What's wrong with me?"

Wow, you got a whole lot of me talking!

Pastor Rose is so excited to give the CD to her friends in the UK who have had to get multiple copies of our last CD because they wore it out. Whenever one friend wakes up, the only way he can go back to sleep is if he puts his headphones on and plays the CD. AND, they listen to it EVERY night when they go to bed. Wow!

I say all this to say...our music is going around the world. It is going to take a team who is sold out to God, the vision, to team and to priorities. You have a lot of things pulling at your time. Guard it. Don't let lack of order or time with God stop you from being a part of this team. That is not from God!

We have a huge Father's Day service coming up. Let's win those men to Christ!

The question again...

HOW DO YOU THINK FUEL WENT?

It was truly a God night in many was. As you hear the testimonies there is no doubt. I personally needed a night like that where God was the focus and the rest of the stuff just fell aside.

From someone that has been around awhile the maturity as a team and as worshipers is obvious.

All I can truly say is Thank You.

I thought it was AWESOME! It allowed me to take my worship to another level. The crowd seemed to be into it as well. You guys did a great job. Thanks for all your efforts.

I am telling you what, it was amazing. I have felt a little off lately and when God just swept through the worship center, and we sang Jesus is...I just couldn't help but have tears run down my face. And when you can't hold it in... God truely raised a bar in that place, in the music team and in all who was there. Thank you guys for all your hard work!

Oh man, it was off the HOOK! There were so many God moments where His presence could be felt in the room. Great job ushering in His presence and leading the people. You guys rocked! Also, that new instrumental part in The Stand was AMAZING. I got goose bumps and started to just jump, even though I was off beat it didnt matter cause it got me sooooooo pumped.

Nights like last Wednesday remind me of all the times when God's presence is so thick you can't help but feel a wave of His glory. I felt connected for sure to God, to the team, to our church, to my instrument and worshipping with it. Wow! The ending part of extended worship is something really cool and the prayer time is something I want to see happen more often. Great job everyone who was a part, not just musicians and singers but sound techs, greeters, lighting, etc. Thanks Pastor Mel for bringing out more of our destiny as individuals and a team.

It was both an honor and a privelege to minister that night. God took us way past our abilities and the mistakes we made and touched lives in a special way. We could have sang "Jimmy Crack Corn" and people would of still experinced God's power. It was a night that was ordained of Him and we got to be a part of it.

FUEL was amazing!! The Spirit WAS just so thick - I couldn't stop jumping!! What was so special to me was bringing a friend of mine from another church. She is on the worship team there but has started coming when she can, to our services to get ideas for worship. She loves her church home, but really sees a need to stretch and allow the Spirit to move more freely during their worship time. What an honor to be a part of a team with not only such tremendous talent, but such humility and commitment that God can be so evident in our worship! Amazing job you guys!!!!

I think fuel was great. It was structured, and still powerful. I can't wait to get into the studio and start working! This record is going to sound great...

Smooth. It just felt like the load was totally on the Holy Spirit. From the beginning of the first practice to the redoing of songs and extended worship, it was all Him. Now that's the sweet stuff!
